Christy, I have heard you speak of moving into a new home..I must have missed where you moved too.I am so happy you are accomplishing your gold of a larger kitchen, and how is the garden growing today...I don't have any luck in tomatoes. I put out 4 plants in my backyard and they all got the wilt and died....Tell me about your new home and I know I have seen Madison somewhere. Did you move from Athens to Madison? I have a grandson and wife in Madison....Chris

Love the sunny yellow wall color! I also have lots of things in my kitchen that belonged to family members - a grandmother's old flat iron, an aunt's flour crock and so many others.

Also, being an amateur genealogist, I absolutely love the fact that you have a framed obituary in a place of honor in your kitchen. Fabulous idea and I fully intend to copy it myself :-)

I really enjoyed reading about Christy Jordan's Kitchen. There is nothing better than a sunny kitchen and a warm friendly hostess. I love the interesting things that Christy incorporated into her kitchen. I especially love the interesting obituary she has hanging. I have the will of Martha Washington in my living room. I will definitely come back to visit.
